As the ASB Treasurer for the 2018-2019 term, it is my responsibility to manage all requisitions, finance/budget out events/activities that ASB intends on hosting, and also working closely with Club Treasurers to carry out an eventful yet organized year. Additionally, as part of the Executive Board team, it is my duty to work closely with the ASB advisors, Nonetheless, I am also in charge of collaborating with Mrs. Chen/Mr. Alcala when it comes to budgeting for ASB, and reviewing any requisitions that require changes. Though I might look stressed out almost all the time, I am always open to meeting new people, so don't ever feel discouraged to simply go up to me and ask me questions or even start a conversation with me. As an Athletics Commissioner, I am responsible for publicising all High school sports as well as organizing our Pow WOW, Homecoming tailgate, and Senior vs. Staff Games. Through this, my partner and I also organize a Mascot team in an effort to raise the overall spirit of our Oxford Academy Athletic teams. I myself am a year-round athlete and understand the needs of ALL our players!! STAFF APPRECIATION COMMISSIONER
As Staff Appreciation, my main events are Staff Welcome Breakfast, Back to School Night Staff Babysitting, Open House Staff Babysitting, and Staff Appreciation Week. However, I also run programs such as "Badge Buddies" and "Secret Buddies" where ASB members are matched up with staff and exchange notes, letters, gifts and more. My goal is to foster a relationship between the staff and the general student body, not just ASB, which makes the staff feel supported by the students and vice versa. I also want the staff to be informed of events on campus and participate as much as possible in our OA community. This is my fifth year in student leadership, and my third year in high school ASB, so if you ever need help with anything around campus or are confused, feel free to approach me. I'm super goofy and I love having fun, and I hope I can bring some of that to Oxford this year!

Being the At-Large Commissioner means that I am responsible for working with my other two partners on OA Compliments and Love Week. OA Compliments is a system in which students can submit compliments for their friends or staff members; the purpose is to spread positivity throughout our community. Through Love Week during February, we share our love and spirit with the Oxford community. Alongside this, I am responsible for reaching out to other ASB members and assisting them with their current position. As of right now, I am working with Frankie Alcala as the ICC Commissioner. I am definitely always willing to lend a hand to other students! I'm more than happy to offer my support and assistance. As OATV Comm. I am particularly in charge of handling Student Spotlight Videos. What I do is have a weekly or monthly routine to gather and compose a video that highlights one student from each grade every two or so weeks. The purpose is to highlight our Patriots' achievements or maybe even to just give the audience a chance to know a little more about the person. Sometimes, there are times when OATV Crew has to be a part of the on camera action like being the anchor which is really fun to be on screen in front of the whole school! It's a great position to hold because it allows you to explore different areas of film and cinematography.
